Denver Water Seeks Citizens Advisory Committee Member

Aug. 26, 2010 - The 10-member volunteer action committee that advises Denver Water staff and the Denver Board of Water Commissioners on a variety of issues, while encouraging and coordinating public participation in the water department’s policy-making process, has an opening for a Western Slope Representative.

Denver Water’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) typically meets the third Thursday of each month, 5–7 p.m., in the Board Room at Denver Water, 1600 West 12th Ave., Denver, CO 80204.

This is a volunteer position. To qualify for the Western Slope Representative position, an applicant must reside in Summit, Grand or Eagle County and must have been a resident of Colorado for at least five years. The position is a three-year term that would run from January 2011 to December 2013.

Applications are available online and are due by Sept. 13, 2010.
