No Evidence to Support Claims of Improper Asbestos Disposal at Foothills Treatment Plant

April 01, 2010 - On March 17, Fox 31 News reported that some former Denver Water employees were told to bury cement-asbestos pipe years ago at the Foothills Water Treatment Plant. The Colorado Department of Public Health, in conjunction with multiple agencies, inspected the property on March 30 and found no evidence of improper asbestos burial at the facility.
