Established in 1918, the utility is a public agency funded by water rates and new tap fees, not taxes. It is Colorado’s oldest and largest water utility.
Denver Water is searching for an IT Infrastructure Technician IV. The successful candidate will also have the following qualifications for appointment:
- Assist in design and develop DW long-term technical roadmap in the areas of computer networks and UNIX bases systems.
- Creates and implements equipment standards for server and network hardware.
- Works with Enterprise Architect to develop highly technical data and voice network infrastructure.
- Researches hardware/software technical problems and trends at an enterprise level as they develop.
- Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness.
Education Requirements
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in computer science or related field.
Experience Requirements
Eight years experience supporting user needs, in the areas of telecommunications/networking hardware and software with an emphasis on Cisco.
Other Requirements
May be required to perform on-call duty, work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as directed.
