What is the Denver Water Business Portal?
The Denver Water Business Portal provides a secure framework using authenticated access to perform business transactions between Denver Water and various business partners.

What is available on the Denver Water Business Portal?
The Denver Water Business Portal contains two applications as of February 2011. They are the “Denver Water Plan Review Checklist” and the “Recycled Water Training Assessment”. Each is for a certain audience and is not intended for the general public.
The Denver Water Plan Review checklist replaces the old checklist application from the denverwater.org website under Doing Business with Denver Water. It is intended for business partners that have submitted plans to Denver Water, which are under review.
The Recycled Water Training Assessment is a test for recycled water certification that is only intended for our Denver Water distributors who operate recycled water systems.

Who should register on the Denver Water Business Portal?
External entities that have submitted plans for review may register and use the “Denver Water Plan Review Checklist” application or Denver Water distributors who need to take the “Recycled Water Training Assessment” may register.

I receive water from Denver Water, should I register?
Currently, there are no customer functions available on the Denver Water Business Portal; therefore, no customers should register. We hope in the future to provide other applications to other business partners and our customers.

How do I register to use the Denver Water Business Portal?
You may access the Denver Water Business Portal via denverwater.org from Construction Projects » Doing Business with Us » Plan Reviews section or the Water Quality » Recycled Water » Recycled Water Training and Tours section.
Once you are redirected to the Denver Water Business Portal, you will get the Login screen. If you are a new user, click the hyperlink “Register as a New User” at the bottom of the page.

You will be taken to the Create Account screen to enter a username of your choosing (this cannot be an e-mail address), your email address and the security code that is displayed.
To verify that the email address you provided is valid, you will be sent a link.
To finish your registration, click on the link in the email and you will be taken to another Create Account screen to complete your personal information, password, and security question, which will be needed if you forget your password or username. Note that the fields with the red asterisks are required fields. Click the Register button when you are finished.
Your account has been created and you will see a message that you are successful. You will have to log in to the Denver Water Business Portal with your newly created username and password (you won’t automatically be logged in).

What if I can't read the security code that I need to enter?
If you cannot read the security code, click the Refresh button in your internet browser to get a new code.

How do I find the applications I need to access?
Once you have created an account on the Denver Water Business Portal and logged on for the first time, you will automatically be directed to the Home page.
To add an application, click the Business Applications link on the top menu of the page.

On the Business Portal page, click the “Add it Now!” button below the application you want to add. Once you click the button the application is added to the Home page and you are automatically taken to the Home page. You will only need to do this the first time you log in to the Denver Water Business Portal. All other times afterwards, your application will remain on the Home page.

How do I remove applications from my Home page?
To remove applications, click the Business Applications page link from the top menu. Click the ”Remove it Now!” button below the application you want to remove from your Home page. This will automatically remove the application and take you to the Home page.

How do I log out?
You can log out from any screen on the top right hand side where it says “Welcome username”, there’s a black arrow. Click the black arrow and you will be given several options. The Sign Out option is the last one listed, click on it to log out.

What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password you may change it from the Denver Water Business Portal by clicking the link on the Sign In page called “Forgot Password?” On the Forgot Password screen you will need to enter your username and click the “Submit” button. On the Forgot Password screen, you will need to enter your security answer (THIS IS CASE SENSTIVE) and click Submit. If the security answer matches, you will be given a screen to create a new password.

What if I forget my username?
If you forget your username you may request it from the Denver Water Business Portal by clicking the link on the Sign In page called “Forgot Username?” On the Forgot Username screen you need to enter your email address and click the ”Submit” button. Your username will be emailed to the address you entered.

What if I need to change my email address?
Once you are logged in to the Denver Water Business Portal, from the top menu, chose My Profile. On the Profile Information screen, click the Edit link on the top right-hand side. You can edit any of your personal information including your email address.

How do I edit my personal information?
Once you are logged in to the Denver Water Business Portal, from the top menu, chose My Profile. On the Profile Information screen, click the Edit link on the top right-hand side. You can edit any of your personal information including your email address. You cannot change your username.

How do I change my username?
Usernames cannot be changed. If you would like a new username, you must close your account and re-register to use the Denver Water Business Portal.

How do I change my password?
Once you are logged in to the Denver Water Business Portal, from the top menu, chose My Profile. Once the Profile Information screen is displayed, click the “Change My Password” hyperlink on the bottom of the page. On the Change Your Password screen, you will need to enter your current password, your new password and confirm your new password. Click the “Change Password” button to confirm.

How do I change my security question or answer?
Once you are logged in to the Denver Water Business Portal, from the top menu, chose My Profile. Once the Profile Information screen is displayed, click the “Change My Security Answer” hyperlink on the bottom of the page. On the Update Security Question screen, you may change your question or answer, but you must enter in your password to confirm the changes. Click the “Update” button once all fields are completed.

Can I close my account?
Yes, you can close your account but you must log in to the Denver Water Business Portal to do so.

How do I close my account?
Once you are logged in to the Denver Water Business Portal, from the top menu, chose My Profile. Once the Profile Information screen is displayed, click the “Close My Account” hyperlink on the bottom of the page. On the Close My Account screen, enter your password and click the “Close Account” button. A message will pop up that says “Are you sure you want to close your account?” click OK to close account. Click Cancel to cancel and return to the Close Account screen. If you do not want to close your account, click Cancel on the Close Account screen.

How do I reset my Home page?
On the top right-hand side where it says “Welcome username”, there’s a black arrow. Click the black arrow and you will be given several options. If you click the Reset Page Content option, the Home page will be reset and the applications will be removed.

What browsers does the Denver Water Business Portal support?
For best results, the Denver Water Business Portal operates optimally in Internet Explorer 7 and 8. Some features may not work as intended in other browsers, (i.e., Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome).
