ID:13797A Cat Pump Station and Miller Reservoir Ventilation Systems

The work to be done, for which bids are invited, shall consist of furnishing and installing ventilation equipment and appurtenances at the Cat Pump Station in Adams County, Colorado and Miller Reservoir in Commerce City, Colorado. The project includes furnishing and installing two simple ventilation systems, one for the wet-well at the Cat Pump Station and one for the outlet structure at the Miller Reservoir. In addition to the furnishing and installing the ventilation systems, the project includes furnishing FRP plating to replace floor grating at the Cat Pump Station along with providing and installing a fan controller at the Miller Reservoir outlet structure for the new ventilation system.

ID:13327A Dillon Dam Outlet Works Gate Repairs

This project consists of repair and maintenance of two 4-foot by 5-foot cast iron slide gates, two 4- by 5-foot steel slide gates, and two 27- by 27-inch cast iron slide gates at Denver Water’s Dillon Dam Outlet Works located in Summit County, Colorado. The work generally includes disassembly of gates, fabrication and installation of new seats, refurbishment of existing seats, refurbishment and/or replacement of subsystems (electrical, instrumentations and control, hydraulic, HVAC) associated with the gates and facility, corrosion protection installation and spillway concrete lining repairs. In order to work on the gates a contractor designed, procured, installed and operated bypass system is required to divert water around the outlet works to maintain minimum stream flows during construction.
