The trail along the High Line Canal is a favorite urban getaway that meanders 71 miles across the Denver metro area. While the waterway is owned and operated by Denver Water, this National Landmark Trail is maintained by municipal recreation agencies.
The second edition of the Guide to the High Line Canal Trail is a full-color, pocket-sized companion that suggests what to look for, what to avoid, where to find the best scenery and where to park. The guide offers mile-by-mile descriptions of the canal’s tranquil scenery, as well as geographical and historical facts about this urban treasure. The 2012 edition also includes a separate pull-out trail map — as requested by many trail enthusiasts!
