IRP 2011 Public Involvement Process

The public involvement process for the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) 2011 provides important input into the complex set of scenarios, planning criteria, options and strategies being developed by Denver Water.

The plan has been underway for more than a year, and a number of stakeholders have provided input. That input is being factored into the analysis, options and strategies being developed as part of the planning process.

To this point, we have developed a set of Planning Futures and identified a variety of conservation, reuse and supply options to ensure we are asking ourselves and our stakeholders the right set of questions. We have begun the technical phase of the process in which we analyze supply and demand management options. We also are studying our treated water infrastructure and operational needs.

The IRP 2011 team will continue to seek stakeholder input as our planners reach different phases of the study. Please continue to visit this page to keep updated on the IRP 2011’s process and progress.
