What are customers saying about recycled water?

Golf courses appreciate the savings, and students are learning more about this environmentally friendly irrigating option.

“By using diverted and treated wastewater for our irrigation we will free up over two million gallons of fresh water per season for Denver’s growing needs. But going ‘green’ brings with it more than one benefit. In this case, amounting to a savings of over $6,000 a year at current water rates!”

Denver Country Club uses recycled water for irrigating, saving money and providing a more environmentally friendly way to keep the greens green.

“That’s really the way of the future. It’s a great way that golf can give back to the environment.”

Westerly Creek Elementary recently hooked onto Denver Water’s recycled water system.

“The best part of Westerly Creek’s switch to recycled water is that we will be spending 70% less on our irrigation water bills and using 3 to 4 million gallons less of drinking water! This is money that can be re-invested in students and district programs.”
