Request a Lead Test

Denver Water customers can request a free water quality test for lead for residences (single-family and multi-unit) within Denver Water's service area. (Limit one test per household.) The most common sources of lead in treated drinking water come after the main, in lead service lines and household plumbing fixtures. Learn where to look for potential sources of lead.

Based on demand, it may take Denver Water a few weeks to process this request. For other water quality test options, check with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
