Identifying Denver Water Staff

There are times when a Denver Water employee may come to your door requesting access to your home, although most residents communicated with us about service calls in advance.

In most cases, customers initiate employee visits to collect in-home water quality samples. If you requested a water quality test for lead, we send a kit for you to collect water samples on your own.

Most, but not all, Denver Water employees who are likely to visit your home will be wearing clothing with a Denver Water logo and will be driving a clearly marked Denver Water vehicle.

When a Denver Water service person arrives at your home or office, even in uniform, however, you should always ask to see his/her Denver Water employee photo identification card. The employee will be happy to show it to you.

If you have concerns that the individual is NOT a Denver Water employee, don't let them into your house and call Denver Water Customer Care at 303-893-2444 for confirmation.
