Conservation Signage for Restaurants
Please do your part to conserve...

1. Post a permanent sign on all the entrances to your restaurant stating that you serve water only on the customer’s request. Denver Water will provide free of charge, one of these signs. If the sign becomes damaged or is incompatible with your decor, then you must replace it, either with a copy of our sign, or with one of your own that uses the same text.

2. Post employee information posters in your food preparation areas and your dishwashing areas. Here are free Best Management Practice posters for each area.

Denver Water also offers a checklist that covers many aspects of water use in a restaurant setting. This checklist includes all the information and suggestions on the two above, plus some additional ideas. Post these checklists where your employers can see them during the work day.
