The 10-member Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to Denver Water, who advises the utility and its board on a range of issues while encouraging and coordinating public participation in the the agency’s policy development, is seeking two new members: Denver representative and West Slope representative. These are volunteer positions.
To qualify for the Denver representative, an applicant must be a resident of the city and county of Denver, a Denver Water customer in their private residence, and must have been a resident of Colorado for at least five years.
To qualify for the West Slope representative, an applicant must have been a resident of Colorado for at least five years, and must reside in either Mesa, Delta, Montrose or Garfield county.
The positions are three-year terms that would run from January 2019 through December 2021. The CAC typically meets the third Thursday of each month, 5–7 p.m., at Denver Water, 1600 W. 12th Ave., Denver, CO 80204.
