Denver Water owns and operates Strontia Springs Dam – FERC Project No. P-6916 (Strontia Project) and the Blue River Project (a.k.a Dillon Project) – FERC No. P-4610. The Dillon Project and the Strontia Project are licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and both projects are also regulated by the Colorado State Engineer’s Office (SEO). FERC’s Division of Dam Safety and Inspections’ San Francisco Regional Office (D2SI-SFRO) requires that Denver Water submit a Consultant’s Safety Inspection Report (CSIR) in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations 18 Chapter 1 Part 12 15 Subpart D (Part 12D) every five years. The next CSIRs for both Projects are due in early 2021. In addition to meeting FERC requirements for the CSIR, Denver Water is requesting the consultant update the PFMA report (Section 1 of the Supporting Technical Information Document - STID) for the Strontia Project only. Denver Water is inviting your firm to submit a proposal to provide services for one or both of the following scope items:
- Provide professional services associated with Strontia Project Part 12D Independent Consultant (IC) activities including completing a 2021 CSIR and updated PFMA Report for the Strontia Project.
- Provide professional services associated with Dillon Project Part 12D IC activities including completing a 2021 CSIR for the Dillon Project.
