Denver Water’s Youth Education team is among the best in state for their work teaching the next generation of Colorado water leaders, according to students and education experts.

Our Youth Ed team works with schools and teachers, reaching about 10,000 students and adults across the metro area every year. The staff visits schools and offers resources to educators.

The Colorado Watershed Assembly, which aims to protect the state’s watersheds, worked with students to review water education programs, conservation and academics. Because students know what works in the classroom!

The review team named as “exemplary” (the top honor) our Youth Education Program’s Water Education Resource Guide, as well as partner programs at the Keystone Science School and the water exhibits at Colorado State University’s Spur Campus at the National Western Center.
