Denver Water Online Sign-up Guide

You must complete the sign-up process before you can access your Denver Water Online account. The instructions below are for customers who are logging in to the site for the first time. Please note: The imagery denotes how someone would sign up on a desktop or laptop. The look for mobile is slightly different.

Before you begin, you will need your customer ID and account number to set up your account. You can find both on your printed bill.

Click Manage Account/Pay Bill, and then click Sign up/Sign in

Click on Sign up Now.

Enter your email address.

Check the reCAPTCHA box. You may need to complete a picture-matching task as an extra security measure.

Click continue and a verification code will be sent to the email address you provided.

Enter the 6-digit verification code

Enter your Denver Water account number.

Enter your customer ID.

Create a password that is between 12 and 64 characters and has at least 3 of the following:

  • a lowercase letter.
  • an uppercase letter.
  • a number or symbol.

Check the reCAPCHA box.

Click Sign Up.

After creating your account, you will be redirected to the sign-in page.

Enter your email address and password.

Click Sign in.

Denver Water Online uses multi-factoer authentication (MFA) to secure your account. 

Enter a mobile number to receive a verification code. 

Click Send Code to receive a code via SMS or click Call Me to receive a code by phone call.

Enter the verification code and click Verify Code. The verification code expires after 3 minutes. If the code expires, click send a new code to receive a new one.

Congratulations! Your sign-up is complete. You will be directed to your new Denver Water Online account where you can view your consumption history, set up ebill or automatic bill pay and view your payment history.
