Sign up for e-bill: A step-by-step guide

Before you sign up for e-bill, you need a Denver Water Online account. If you do not have an account, learn how to create one. Please note: The imagery within the instructions below denotes a desktop or laptop view. The look for mobile is slightly different.

How to sign up for e-bill

To sign up for e-bill:

Click Sign up/Sign in to access your Denver Water Online account.

Add an email address by clicking Account Maintenance.

Click Email Address.

Add or update your email address and click Submit.

Click on Account Overview.

Click Sign Up to enroll in e-bill.

The account will now reflect your e-bill enrollment. You will receive a confirmation email from ebill@denverwater.org.

How to make a payment in e-bill

Download Adobe Reader.

E-bills must be downloaded and opened in Adobe Reader to use the payment function.

Download the e-bill from your inbox.

When prompted, enter the 5-digit billing zip code, and click submit.

Open the e-bill with Adobe Reader.

Click Pay amount due now.

Choose:

Option 1 - Electronic Check/ACH, or

Option 2 - Credit/Debit Card

Check Remember Payment Details to conveniently save payment information and unlock the One-Click Payment feature.

Click Submit Payment.

How to use One-Click payment

Before you begin, make sure you have set up One-Click payment in your Denver Water Online Account. To do this, refer to Remember Payment Details step of "How to make a payment in e-bill."

Once you open your e-bill, click the Pay amount due now button.

Click pay total amount due now to submit the payment.

Clicking the do not submit payment button will provide a cancellation page, confirming no payment was made.

You will receive a confirmation email with payment details.

How to pay from a mobile device

Within your mobile device, open your e-bill from your email platform.

Click Pay amount due now.

Select Click to pay from your mobile device.

You will be directed to a third-party provider, Speedpay, to complete the payment.

A confirmation email will be sent from Speedpay.
