Traffic Advisory — Lane closures at South Colorado Boulevard and East Yale Avenue begin overnight July 23

DENVER – July 22, 2021 – Starting overnight on Friday, July 23, Denver Water will begin a project to upgrade critical water infrastructure on South Colorado Boulevard, between East Cornell Avenue and East Yale Avenue.

This will require daily lane closures in this area, including in the intersection of South Colorado Boulevard and East Yale Avenue, where eastbound traffic will be unable to turn left onto South Colorado Boulevard. A uniformed police officer will direct traffic at this intersection.

This work will take approximately two weeks to complete, with work occurring 24 hours a day, seven days a week until it’s finished.

Alternate routes are advised.
