Traffic Advisory — Lane closures start Feb. 3 on South Wadsworth Boulevard at West Yale Avenue

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Jan. 27, 2023 — Starting the morning of Friday, Feb. 3, Denver Water will begin a project to repair a broken valve at South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Yale Avenue.

Southbound South Wadsworth Boulevard will be reduced to one lane through the West Yale Avenue intersection around the clock through the weekend. The left turn lane from northbound South Wadsworth Boulevard onto westbound West Yale Avenue will also be closed. A signed detour route will be in place.

Work should be complete by the end of the day Sunday, Feb. 5, but the construction schedule could change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Signage is in place in the area and commuters should expect delays and avoid the area if possible next weekend.
