Traffic Advisory — South Holly Street closures coming mid-January

DENVER — Starting in mid-January, Denver Water is planning to begin an infrastructure upgrade project on South Holly Street, from East Quincy Avenue to East Stanford Drive. The project should take about six weeks to complete, with crews typically working Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Traffic impacts:

  • Week of Jan. 16: South Holly Street will be reduced to one lane from East Quincy Avenue to East Stanford Drive. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic through the area this week.
  • Week of Jan. 23: Northbound South Holly Street will be closed from East Quincy Avenue to East Stanford Drive. This closure will last for approximately one month.
    • Northbound traffic along South Holly Street will be detoured at East Belleview Avenue to South Monaco Street. Local traffic will still be able to access neighborhoods between East Quincy and East Belleview avenues.

Detour signage will be posted but drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
