If you have a past-due balance on your account, it’s better to pay what you can in order to keep that balance manageable, particularly before summer, a time when water bills are typically higher due to higher water use.
Customers who are concerned about being able to pay their bill should contact Denver Water Customer Care at 303-893-2444, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or through our webform.
Team members are experienced in working with customers and providing options, like payment plans, or connecting eligible customers to hardship assistance.
As a reminder, bills for water use are tied to the property. If a tenant does not pay the bill, the property owner is still responsible for outstanding charges.
