After many years of work, the final phase of the redevelopment of Denver Water’s 35-acre central operations complex is nearing completion.
On Nov. 4, employees will start working in a new Administration Building on the complex, the last new building to be finished.
Before the redevelopment, the average age of the buildings on the complex was 55 years. The oldest building was 130 years old.
The new Administration Building was designed for efficient water and energy use, with solar power panels over the parking garage and an innovative water recycling and reuse system in the building.
Our address will stay the same, 1600 W. 12th Ave. And we may be easier to find, as the entry to the visitor parking lot will be off West 13th Avenue and Shoshone Street.
If you’re coming to our new building, follow the signs to our new front door.
