Garden In A Box is an easy, quick way to add a pop of color to your landscape using carefully selected water-wise plants — a smart choice as our community faces ongoing drought conditions and increasing pressure on our water supplies. No green thumb required!
Denver Water is proud to partner with Boulder nonprofit Resource Central to offer our residential customers a limited number of $25 discounts on Garden In A Box kits, which include:
- Small “starter” plants that will grow as they become established in about three years.
- Professionally designed perennial gardens with plant-by-number instructions.
- Care and maintenance information.
- Water-wise plants that will help you save at least 7,000 gallons of water over the garden’s lifetime (compared to the same area covered by Kentucky bluegrass).
Please note: There are a limited number of discounts on these kits available to our residential customers for the spring and fall Garden In A Box sales.
Summer vegetable gardens, which include starter plants of peppers, squash and tomatoes, are also available for purchase during the spring sale for those interested in growing food, but are not eligible for Denver Water’s discount.
