Raising a dam Stay informed Project review and permitting

Denver Water understands that our work is likely to cause disruptions for residents and recreationists in the area. We are committed to being a good neighbor by working closely with stakeholders to ensure safety and maintaining open, two-way communication channels throughout the project. We will continue to listen to concerns and seek community input to identify ways we can minimize inconvenience to the local community where possible.

Over the course of the Gross Reservoir Expansion Project, we have developed a variety of channels to share information and receive community feedback. We will continue to update information on this website, including regular updates about construction activities on-site, project documentation and contact information.

Project-specific updates will be shared across Denver Water’s social media platforms. Follow us on:

  • Nextdoor for information on upcoming activities, road and traffic impacts and recreation access.
  • Twitter (@DenverWater) for traffic advisories and recreation information.
  • Facebook (@DenverWater) and Instagram (@denver_water) for project updates and general news.

Don’t forget to subscribe to and update your preferences for our e-newsletter!
