3 ways a gallon of water can make you feel better this year

Drink it, re-use it, lift it — the possibilities are endless and may lead to a happier, healthier you!

Happy New Year, friends!

If you’re like me, by now you’ve bailed on your resolutions and are lining up the excuses for why they didn’t work out this year.

Well stop that!

Before you completely give up, I’ve got a proposition for you. If your list of self-improvement dreams looks something like this:

… look no further than your tap and that gallon jug sitting in the back of your fridge.

That’s right, here’s how a gallon of tasty Denver water can transform this new year from ugh to decent (or maybe even AMAZING)!

1. Drink up.

Do you drink enough water? Don’t lie to me. There are plenty of examples that detail the benefits (and bladderific challenges) of participating in the 30-day water gallon challenge, where you (yep) drink a gallon of water every day for 30 days. While this may seem rather extreme, you should definitely drink more water. You’ll feel better, snack less, have more energy, have healthier skin and so much more!

2. R-E-C-Y-C-L-E RECYCLE!

The best part about using a gallon jug to tote your fluids is that you can use it again and again and again. And again! This will save you money on bottled water (don’t get me started) and will absolve you of some of that Earth-wrecker guilt you’ve been carrying around.

3. Lift it.

Whoa, is that Arnold Schwarzenegger or just 2017 you?

And if you really want to look cool, help yourself to some gallon jug strength training. It’s a great way to get in shape while also totally avoiding ridicule at school, work or your local gym! Or just bail on the gym and do these exercises in your living room where nobody can see you.

It’s working for me so far!

Fine, no, I haven’t done any of this … YET. But, in fairness, neither have you. What do you say we all add a gallon of water to our lives and accomplish some goals this year!?

Because this year? This is YOUR year, Denver.

Seriously. I will if you will.
