It’s a wrap on TAP for 2018

Revisit some of the places, people and projects we wrote about this year, with a countdown of the stories and videos you liked the most.

Denver Water’s news on TAP offers a peek behind the curtain at the complex system and the dedicated people involved in delivering water to 1.4 million people.

TAP started in 2015 and we’ve been proud to share our passion with you through the years. We also look forward to all the stories we will tell in 2019 and for years to come.

Some of Denver Water’s Facebook posts that you liked were:

  • The trailer for the four-chapter “Journey of Water” video series showed some of the many people involved in delivering water to the homes and businesses of Denver Water customers.
  • This story started with, “What’s six football fields long, spans a mountain valley and can make water flow uphill?” It’s about siphon in Grand County that got a well-deserved upgrade.
  • News about the Garden-In-a-Box kit was very popular, so much so that the discount for Denver Water customers isn’t available anymore. But it’s exciting that so many people are interested in the topic.
  • This was about the first chapter of the “Journey of Water” video series. All about where our water starts, high in Colorado’s snow-capped mountains.
  • Chapter two of the “Journey of Water” video series showed more segments of water’s path from mountain to home. You can meet some of the unique people who work night and day to bring water to your home.
