Indoor water use is essential to the health and well-being of families and communities. Denver Water’s core mission is to maintain adequate water supplies for drinking, cooking, bathing, cleaning and personal hygiene.

On average, Denver Water’s single-family residential customers use about 50 gallons per person per day indoors — 10 gallons more than the benchmark for efficient indoor water use of 40 gallons per person per day.
