Transferring Service

Coming soon: A new and better way to request a transfer of service!

Our new transfer of service portal will come online Dec. 8, 2017. It will replace the transfer of service request form below and provide you the ability to request a status online.

For Title Company Use

To request a transfer of service complete the online form (accessible below). Please allow up to two business days for a response. Be advised that a meter read is required to complete the transfer of service and a fee ($70 per check) be assessed to the final bill.

Please note Denver Water is closed on these holidays in 2017, so no meter reading will take place:

  • Monday, Jan. 2 (New Year’s Day Observed)
  • Monday, Jan. 16 Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
  • Monday, Feb. 20 (Presidents Day)
  • Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day)
  • Tuesday, July 4 (Independence Day)
  • Monday, Sept. 4 (Labor Day)
  • Friday, Nov. 10 (Veterans Day Observed)
  • Thursday, Nov. 23 (Thanksgiving Day)
  • Monday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day)

If you need a transfer of service within 24-48 business hours, or if you would like to cancel an existing order for a transfer of service, please call 303-893-2444 to speak to a Customer Care Specialist. They are available to assist you during regular business hours, Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
