Learning more about water

Are you a teacher? Do you know a teacher? Are you the parent of a K-12 student in Denver Water’s service area?

Did you know our award-winning Youth Education Program regularly works with more than 135 schools and reaches more than 7,500 K-12 students and teachers a year?

Our free education program offers in-person, virtual and online opportunities to:

  • Learn about water in Colorado and climate change’s impact on water.
  • Explore Denver Water’s role and responsibilities in providing a safe, reliable water supply to 1.5 million people.
  • Help create wise water-use behaviors.

We also have a Water Education Resource Guide that offers a broad range of water-related information and activities. The guide includes sections on the water cycle, how water is used and the importance of water efficiency.

Sign up for our monthly Knowledge Drops newsletter, which has the latest science, news and free education about water in Colorado and beyond.
